"I really couldn't be without them. It is lovely to have a carer, they do help you".

Candlelight Clients

Respite Care

When you are caring for somebody you also need to take care of yourself.

In most jobs you get holidays so you should try to take some time off from caring too!

Depending on the type and intensity of care needed, your own health and well-being can be compromised when looking after someone else. This is where Candlelight can help.

We provide professional and qualified care staff to take over while a family member or other primary carer takes a break.

Whether for just for a few hours a day/week, or to cover periods of holiday or illness, we can provide support when you need it and give you the peace of mind that your loved one is being safely taken care of in your absence.

We provide our services across Bath & NE Somerset (B&NES), Dorset, Borough of Poole, East Sussex, Somerset and Wiltshire.

An Afternoon To Remember

Some of our clients, singing along to songs from the 50's.

A big thank you to Wells Evening Society who provided a wonderful afternoon for some of our clients in the Glastonbury area, by treating them to a trip down memory lane and a delicious home-made tea.

"I cannot speak highly enough of the carers who come to me. I would be completely devastated and lost without them. It's so nice to have the same girls regularly, I feel so comfortable with them. Thank You"
